Ways to Give

There are several ways you can make a donation to the Cary Library Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Gifts of any size are appreciated. All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.  The Foundation's Tax Identification Number is 04-3462996. 

Online

You can make a secure one-time or recurring gift by donating online.

You can also give a gift in honor of someone by donating online. Gift donations are a great alternative to a traditional birthday, anniversary, wedding, graduation, or holiday gift! We’ll mail an acknowledgement letter to the individual you are honoring, notifying them you gave a gift in their honor.

You can also give a memorial gift by donating online. When you honor the life of a loved one with a memorial gift, we’ll mail an acknowledgment to the individual or family you designate, notifying them you gave a gift in memory of their loved one.

By Venmo

Donations may be made by Venmo, using the form linked below. If you want to designate your donation for the Children’s Room project or the Annual Fund, you can specify this in the “what’s this for” field in the Venmo form.

Donor Advised Fund

Use the form linked below to pull from your existing donor advised fund. 

Charitable IRA rollovers

This option, available for donors age 70½ or older, allows donations to be made directly from an IRA without triggering a taxable income event.  

Company Matching

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. For a list of some of the companies with matching gift programs, click below.
